Skull V

Skull V is an experience of a cow elk skull. It is painted with hues of luminous yellow oxide, parchment, and mars black. The background is a blend of chromium oxide green and titanium white making a soothing sage hue.

The Skull Collection rests at the center of Mira Helena’s body of work. An ode to silent remains, the Skull Collection is inspired by the animals that grace Montana and the West’s vast landscape.
